This 7.25" Needlefish was specifically crafted to weigh between 1.6-1.8oz, making it the ideal size for both boat and shore fishing. Its slow-sinking design sets it apart from other lures on the market, allowing it to swim effortlessly in shallow water areas where large stripers often congregate. Simply cast it out, let it sink to your desired depth, and retrieve slowly while occasionally twitching to showcase the fish's underbelly.
As of January 2024, all of our Needlefish lures - including this 7" model - come equipped with one treble hook on the belly swivel and a custom FLAG on the tail loop (with no hook on the rear). However, for those who prefer, it can easily be rigged with dressed or undressed single hooks on the rear, or a treble hook. Many experienced anglers agree that a lure rigged with only one hook is best for both the striped bass and the angler.
